The biggest game of the week in the NFL is between the St. Louis Rams at Seattle Seahawks with the NFC West title at stake. The winner wins the division and will host the New Orleans Saints in the opening round of the NFL Playoffs next week. The crazy thing is that both of these teams have losing records and neither one deserves to be a playoff team, but one of them will after Sunday. This has been a wild and crazy year around the NFL so why should it stop now? The Rams won the first meeting 20-3 and rookie QB Sam Bradford torched the Seahawks secondary for 289 yards, but that was at home inside the dome. This game will be in Seattle and outdoors in a very hostile environment. This is a great test for Bradford and I want to see how he handles the pressure of the moment. The Rams have had a really nice turnaround this season from their 1-15 nightmare of a season ago. RB Stephen Jackson is still a threat anytime he touches the ball. The Seahawks are usually hard to beat at QWest Field and their fans can really disrupt an offenses flow. That crowd noise can really rattle a young QB and Bradford must be able to handle that for the Rams to have a shot at winning. The big question is who will be under center at QB for the Seahawks? QB Matt Hasselbeck has a hip injury and it may be a game time decision on his status. If he can't go then Charlie Whitehurst will be the man. The Seahawks come into this game on a 3 game losing streak and looking like some guys have already packed it in. They have been outscored by 58 points in those 3 games and thats why I'm picking the Rams to win the game.Related articles
